About Elstree
Elstree sits in the WD6 postcode in Hertfordshire, within the borough of Hertsmere, on the hill above Borehamwood at the southern edge of the county. The old village around Elstree High Street and St Nicholas’ Church has kept its original character, while Elstree & Borehamwood station connects the area to St Pancras and the City on Thameslink. The area is known worldwide for its film and television industry Elstree Studios and the BBC Elstree Centre have worked here for the best part of a century and the surrounding business parks bring in a substantial daytime working population. Aldenham Reservoir and Aldenham Country Park sit to the west, and the green belt keeps Elstree distinct from Borehamwood below it. North London Massage Therapy is based in WD6, so Elstree is home ground rather than the edge of a radius.
Massage at Home in Radlett
Our Elstree clients include directors, operations managers and finance professionals working long weeks across the studios and business parks nearby, boxers and athletes who take recovery as seriously as the training itself, fathers moving between work and the school run with no gap in between, and senior figures in the local community who value discretion as much as the treatment.
Every session begins with an assessment range of movement, what is restricted, what is painful, what has changed since last time and the treatment is built from that. This is the page for the problem that has not resolved: the recurring injury, the restriction that has been there for months, the thing that has not responded to anything else tried so far.
Because we are mobile and locally based, appointments are straightforward to arrange and there is no journey either side of the treatment.

Massage Treatments in Elstree
Different bodies need different approaches. In Elstree, most of our work is problem-solving identifying what is actually causing the restriction and treating that, rather than working over the area that hurts.
Advanced Massage
Our assessment-led, problem-solving treatment. Combines evaluation with targeted technique for chronic tension, restricted movement, postural issues and injury recovery. The first choice where something has not responded to previous treatment.
Table Thai Massage
Massage combined with assisted stretching and mobility work. Effective for restricted range of movement, and for athletes maintaining flexibility alongside a training load.
Deep Tissue Massage
Focused work on deeper muscular tension, stiffness and areas that remain persistently tight.
Not sure which is appropriate? We discuss what is going on with your body before the session and recommend accordingly.

When I first moved back to London, I really struggled to find a massage therapist who has the high level and experience that Josh holds. I’ve been seeing Josh for over a year now and my recovery between training has improved greatly. My injuries have reduced and my mobility is much better. Josh is very knowledgeable; always explaining what he is doing, which muscles he is working on and recommends stretches to do outside of sessions. A massive pro of his service is that he comes to you which is really helpful when you have a busy schedule. I can’t recommend him enough!

We believe the best massage is personal. Your treatment should reflect your body, your lifestyle and what you actually need that day, rather than putting everyone through the same routine.
Parking & Access in Elstree
Because we come to you, there is no clinic to find and no transport to arrange afterwards. Many Elstree properties have driveways or private parking, though the older village roads are narrow and access varies.
When reserving your slot, let us know about any gates, entry systems, narrow access or parking restrictions. Elstree Hill, the High Street and Barnet Lane can be busy at certain times, so clear access information helps.
